My name is A. Robin Scherzer.

I’m also known by my full name, “April Robin”, but just call me Robin. It’s a long story.

I’m a 35 year old Internet marketer and web / graphic designer based in Freehold, New Jersey. That’s central New Jersey — close to the shore. I service clients mostly here in Jersey, but also New York, Pennsylvania and as far as California and Florida.

I have over thirteen years of experience as a professional designer in both web and print. I started my career with a telephony company in north Jersey — back when we had to check website compatibility with Web TV! Since then, I’ve held various art and design related titles in in-house design departments. Now, by day I develop mobile apps and products for a tech startup in Princeton, NJ. By night (and on weekends) I work on a freelance basis.

If I’m not at my work office, I can usually be found working endlessly in my home office. I eat and breathe the Adobe Creative Suite and there’s always an extra large cup of coffee next to me with more brewing. Nobody is surprised when they get emails from me at 2am. When I do sleep, I have dreams about code. My mind identifies colors in hex and Pantone numbers and I irritate my friends when I identify fonts by name on menus and billboards.

My goal, no matter the project, is to leave my client feeling happy. Sometimes my clients need me to execute their visions and sometimes they look to me to bring them one. I give them my experience, knowledge, skills and ideas to create a presence they love and of which we’re both proud.
