Mooestro is a next generation mobile education platform solution (MEP) powered by the Moofwd Convergence Platform. Mooestro allows university IT departments to create their own customized mobile applications that extend the internal systems they are already using … such as SAP, learning management systems, Oracle and Moodle out to mobile. They can also mash-up these internal systems with cloud based resources and services like Twitter, Facebook and YouTube, to create completely unique, custom mobile apps with the click of a button.

Mooestro’s website is based on WordPress as a CMS (content management system). It features a jQuery slider on the homepage that supports unlimited images and videos, as well as dynamic Twitter and Facebook updates and a lightbox photo system.  A blog is integrated for articles and news updates (it is WordPress, of course) and a it also features a video gallery.

Due to the products large customer base in Chile, the Spanish version of the site is localized for the company’s Spanish speaking audiences. however, the Spanish site can also be accesses from the English site for US-based Spanish speaking customers.
